Nicely put. We also have independent and original brand creators and innovative retail businesses created by Bristol design graduates. Let's not overlook that fashion is a creative industry responsible for considerable uk revenue and that fashion and lifestyle ecommerce has been one of the fastest growing digital industries in recent years. Still only run single handedly, this particular little micro brand with a following on five continents, was also "Made in Bristol" has been listed alongside Prada and Tiffany (and others) as 'best on the web'.

Hi Clare,

Proboscis received a TSB Feasibility Study Grant in September 2008 for "Diffusion Shareables: New Markets via 3rd Party Services" to research and develop a re-engineered prototype of the Diffusion Generator designed to allow 3rd parties to hook into its services (making Diffusion eBooks & StoryCubes) and offer them to their own users.

We subsequently launched http://bookleteer.com in September 2009 and have been growing the service ever since. More details here : http://bookleteer.com/blog/

best,
Giles
