Thought I'd give my version of the event to compliment the others…

ARG supremos Steve Peters (42 Entertainment), Dee Cook (World Without Oil), Brian Cain et al laid on a proper ARG show for us today, the lead up to which was a protest and leafleting to 'Boycott Brian Cain' in the conference centre. Once the panel had started the theatrics continued as the panel wove the story that a group was trying to boycott their new US Government sponsored ARG. The audience's twittering that had supposedly supported the boycott was brought up on screen and said members of the audience were interrogated by two security men. we were shown a video of Brian Cain having a bucket of blood thrown over him by a protester, Brian himself then arrived to join the panel covered in blood.There were phone calls, puzzles to encript and it ended with Brian having shoes thrown at him. The panel then took their bows and answered basic questions on what ARGs are from an audience largely new to the form. it was all good fun and as I've met Steve and Dee before we all convened to discuss ARGs for an hour. One of the team is going to try and visit the PM studio in a few weeks. And Steve Peters says I'm cool! Bliss!
